Happy New Year from Greenhouse Arts!
We are just coming off of a fruitful day long retreat with Greenhouse leadership. We feel excited and encouraged for the possibilities this new year seems to hold for all of us as the Greenhouse community. I have been so grateful for the tremendous asset our leadership team has been to Mark and me this past year as we have had the opportunity to expand Greenhouse's visibility via the WPAA building. Darren and Rebecca, Tony and Christina, Esther and Kris, and Barry and Michelle have been change agents, helping Greenhouse make huge strides into the local community with positive impact. We are so grateful for each of them.
I also want to publicly thank the volunteers who have given their time and effort, mostly behind the scenes, to making the Greenhouse sponsored events flow these past four months: Sally, Susanne, Lara, Anne and Mike and Deb. We continue to be grateful to Ralph Holloway and the WPAA board for their belief in Greenhouse and for them allowing us to utilize their facility. Thank you to all!
This year we will be asking you for more involvement. Our growth is becoming much greater than what a few people can handle healthfully. Doors are opening to Greenhouse that we would love to walk through this year, but it won't be possible without more hands to help. The need for flexibility as we grow and change are great as we lean into the new. Our mission is still the same: nurturing artists of all media. This year we are looking at taking baby steps to expand this mission in an intentional way nationally and globally, as well as continuing locally. We would love to have more of you on board to encourage, equip and resource other artists and patrons.
Here is a schedule for January, so far. All of these events will be held at the WPAA Art School Building in Woodland Park. (Hwy 24 and Center Streets across from Seven Arrows Gallery)
